It was my exam of Uptu. To attend this exam, I was going to Kanpur by a train. It takes around two and half an hour to reach Kanpur from Orai. We (me and my father) sat in a general compartment. Near me two very stylish girls were sitting with their boyfriends. With all their’s heart they were talking about their previous lovers. Gossip always takes the most interesting time pass to my heart. Acted as I turned a deaf ear, I took full attention on their trifling talk. Each of them was trying to prove as he has clean hands. I was laughing in my sleeves as for those guys; their gossip was no laughing matter.
Sound of the whistle
Brought my mind that Govinpuri is about to come. Mostly every train stops before a miles away from Govindpuri station. As the train stopped, a crowd of small children entered in a train selling tobacco, cigarette e.t.c. One gentleman, “give me a packet of cigarette”. Child with a smiling face raises his hand to give the packet. Gentleman starts shouting on child, “ hey hey keep yourself away from me you will make my clothes dirty, just give the packet and go away in front of my eyes.My eyes were watching number of children shouting, who had a great passion to sell their little injurious things. After few minutes the train whistled, all the slum dogs set off in the search of another train. Train started crawling; my curious eyes were watching those children. Some of them entered into their slum houses, those slum houses were situated near the bridges of garbage.
Near those small slum huts, we could see so many hollow places with full of dirty water which was coming from factories. The Rail was their play ground. Most of those children were habitual of eating tobacco, smoking cigarette. If you want to see the poorest people and the dirtiest places of India then travel in a train and sit in general compartment. India is the fastest developing country among all developing nations has some upcoming generation who would not be able to survive as a literary man. I hold my breath to know about their future. My destination had come now I had to go for my exam.
