यूँही बस की खिड़की से झांकते हुए,just like that while traveling

यूँही सफ़र करते हुए ,
just like that while traveling 

बस की खिड़की से झांकते हुए,
peeping outside from the window 

मैंने  देखा,
i saw

उन बूढी  मुरझाई आखों को,
those faded old eyes

पके हुए बालों को एक सुर्ख लाल टोपी से ढके,
those gray hair hidden by a dark red cap,

एक सफ़ेद मैले कुचैले कुरते पजामे  में ढके ,
wearing a white dirty kurta and pajama,

उस  ढलते बदन की झुकी हुई कमर को...
and  the bent waist of an old body.....

यूँही सफ़र करते हुए ,
just like that while traveling 

बस की खिड़की से झांकते हुए,
peeping outside from the window
मैंने  देखा,
i saw,

चारे से लदे उस  ट्रेक्टर को  ,
a tractor filled with bait,

उम्र  दराज  ट्राली चालक की पैनी  नजर पड़ने पे ,
and being  stared by an old driver ,

अपने पति से अट्टहास  करते चार फुट घुघंट काढ़े,
chuckling with her   husband,

उस  सकुचाती शर्माती नवविवहिता को,
i saw a shied newly bride....
......

यूँही सफ़र करते हुए,
just like that while traveling

बस की खिड़की से झांकते हुए,
peeping outside from the window

मैंने  देखा,
i saw,

उन बैल गाड़ियों के  झुण्ड को ,
a group of some bullock carts,

उन पर तने तम्बुओं से झांकते  उछलते कूदते बच्चे,
jumping children inside the taints over it, 

जो की लम्बे सफ़र पे निकले  थे अपने अपने घरों से,
who came out from their homes for a long journey 

गुरु पूर्णिमा मेले में गंगा स्नान को.......
because they had to go to fair 

यूँही सफ़र करते हुए ,
just like that while traveling

बस की खिड़की से झांकते हुए,
 peeping outside from the window

मैंने  देखा,
i saw

बन्दर को गोद  में लिए उस औरत को,
i saw a lady who had a monkey in her lap,

ट्रेफिक सिग्नल और उस पर रुकने वाले गाड़ी वाहक ,
traffic signal and all the drivers ,

बसों में बैठे स्कूली बच्चे या रोड पे चलने वाला आदम,
children sitting in their school's bus or a common pedestrian,  

उन सबसे  भीख मांगने  की मज़बूरी को.....
she was coerced to beg to those all.....
