one plate golgappa please

Passing through this road
And staring at your wheelbarrow,
Was never a sensuous enjoyment.
I mesmerize my egoistic words,
I dont want your golgappas,
Do you wish?
I fell sick after eating your dirty golgappa.
Look at this plate.
A Yuck..
Those Old faded eyes
After having regrets once used to look at me and then that plate,

He was an old man,
Whose life was not more than a curse,
Hopes were thousands miles away,
Shivering hands were unable to do anything,
Throat was thirsty to be drenched,
Wandering people were not more than a wraith,
Coming and going like a paper roving,
Was always waiting for someone to ask him
One plate golgappa please .
Alas! He is no more today,
No one asked him for one plate golgappa yet!!
Slum dogs has got a wheel barrow as a new toy,
One was sitting upside and two were pushing ahead..
I am also enough lucky not to see him again,
No one will ask anymore for one plate golgappa please !!!!

I never cared how hygienic or unhygienic the golgappas used to be and ate all the time when I was a kid. Now, mineral water and what not. I think we are more polluted now, more than ever.... :) It was much easier to be immune and digest whatever came our way....

I loved the poem....<3

Seriously, Golgappas is My Favourite in Street Food..
But Never did It crosses My Mind, What If It is Unhygienically Served...
These Slum People are seriously Playing with the Life of Others in The Name of Earning Their Bread and Butter..
Now, It has been Announced by Delhi Govt. Dat Every Roadside Vendor Must be Registered with their Respective Societies in Order to Sell Their Products...
I Think If Implemented Correctly, It will be a Sincere Effort by Our Govt. In This Field...:)Seriously, Golgappas is My Favourite in Street Food..
